September 2011:  Weldex complete the port handling of the foundations for Walney2 Offshore Wind Farm for Dong Energy. During WOW phase 2, over 38,000 tonnes of MP and 15,000 tonnes of TP are unloaded and then loaded out over quay at Barrow.

Meanwhile at Port of Mostyn the final Siemens turbines are due for loadout. Over 20,000 tonnes of WTG components handled to complete WOW2.

May 2011:  Weldex complete first loadouts for Walney 2 offshore wind farm at Mostyn onto installation vessels Kraken and Leviathan.

Also complete first loadout in Esbjerg for Sheringham Shoal project.

May 2011: Construction continues on new Terminal T2 at Heathrow with six cralwers on hire.

Thames Gateway project well under way  with a number of cranes.

May 2011: Scaldis hire specialist crane LTR1100 to help with installation of two substation structures of the offshore wind farm Walney 2.

April 2011: Port handling continues for Dong Energy at Barrow in Furness with delivery and loadout of another 50,000 tonnes of monopiles and transition pieces.

July 2011:  Weldex take delivery of  a new Liebherr LR1750 in Esbjerg to work on the London Array Ofshore Wind Farm port handling. Onshore work begins in August in preparation for installation of WTG in November.


March 2011:  Weldex take delivery of 32 axles of new generation G4 Scheuerle trailers. These will complement the lifting operations at Port of Mostyn on the Walney 2 offshore wind farm. Another 51 WTG to be handled and loaded out.


 

March 2011:  Weldex take delivery of the first of two Liebherr LR1750 cranes. Operating in the port of Esbjerg, they will be working on assembly and loadout of WTG for the Sheringham Shoals and London Array offshore wind farm projects


January 2011:  Weldex provide cranage for the new Orbit Tower on the Olympic games site.  As well as 130te and 200te cranes, the 120m high tower is being completed by as Kobelco SL4500 luffer.


October 2010: NISaV Glasgow,  tandem lift heavy roof trusses by two Liebherr LR1400 on both the new sports hall and velodrome.


August 2010:  Weldex complete phase 1 of Walney Offshore Wind Farm. Over 41,000 tonnes of piles handled at Barrow Port.


May 2010:  Weldex take delivery of another Liebherr LR11350.

Operating in the port of Barrow along with another LR1350 and 600te crane, these cranes loading out 51 foundation and transition piles for Walney 1 offshore wind farm.


April 2009: Kobelco introduce first SL4500, 400te crawler at Intermat Paris show. Weldex procure first unit.


February 2009:  Weldex expand our fleet of telescopic crawlers by receiving the first of three Liebherr LTR1100, 100te tele-crane. This crane complements our fleet of telescopic crawler cranes of 40te to 80te Sennebogen's for specialist lifts.


June 2010:  Weldex add an additional reach Stacker to the fleet for use in Barrow port handling.


April 2010:  Weldex take delivery of two 70te capacity Reach Stackers. Complying with current crane legislation these machines add versatility to the Weldex fleet.


 

March 2009:  Weldex fleet of modular trailers up to 56 axles.  Includes 16 axles of self propelled units.


January 2009:  Weldex take delivery of another Liebherr LR1400 .


November 2008:  Weldex take delivery of  more 40te telescopic crawlers, adding to our successful Sennebogen 40te and 80te fleet.
